| There are 6 old cut diamonds set in the cover as well. Noteworthy is the image of the bird. It is very nicely done with much relief, not just a cut out as in so many other cases. There is a special compartment on top of the inside case cover for a photograph. |

| Pictured here a watch made in Vienna around the first quarter of 19th century by Michael Bachner. It is a big watch, the size approximating 18 size. Silver case. Verge escapement fusee movement quarter repeater. Key wound from the face side. Inner case cover is spring loaded and released by pressing a small steel button. When the crown is depressed 2 series of gongs will sound. First indicating hours, second indicating 1/4 hours. 200 year old watch with painted dial. Very RARE!!! |
